Re: How to set up a Raspberry Pi VPN server

Great work and tutorial! I used the tutorial together with another http://readwrite.com/2014/04/10/raspberry-pi-vpn-tutorial-server-secure-web-browsing and successfully established the vpn connection. I have the routing enabled (by using the IPTABLES IN THIS TUTORIAL) however my PC gets 10.8.0.6 ip?...

Re: Set Static IP address but also getting Dynamic

Hi All, I have configured the network card to have a static IP address which is assigned to the card but for some reason I am also getting an additional IP address from the DHCP server. This means I have 2 IP addresses bound to the network card. I have downloaded the latest raspbian image and appli...

[SOLVED] Re: Mount network share before eth interface

sudo mv S02apache2 S06apache2 and it will start after rc.local. You can then add mount -a in /etc/rc.local to ensure everything is mounted before Apache2 starts. and mission accomplished. :D :D I am very thankful for your support, since we are here can you help me understand the (startup/system) se...

Re: Mount network share before eth interface

if you put a mount -a inside /etc/rc.local does it work ? No. Because /etc/rc2.d/S09rc.local runs too late in the sysvinit sequence. The way to solve this is to rename /etc/rc2.d/S04apache2 to /etc/rc2.d/S08apache2 so that it runs later. Or edit /etc/rc2.d/S04apache2 to include a mount -a command b...
