FLIRC cases are coming out in ~3 weeks. I've already preordered 2. USB boot will be nice, I'm excited for it, however booting from SD and mounting a USB drive as / is totally fine right now.

Yeah, this was one thing that minorly disappointed me. If it's GOING to be USB bootable later, it would be great if the root fs could easily be on a USB drive. Worth maybe mentioning, is that ReactOS is a attempt to make a binary compatible windows clone, it's VERY lightweight, and might run ok-ish on the RPi with Bochs or QEMU. You haven't read it right, I have a Chromebook, it works if the developer mode isn't enabled, people can't get that plugin to work in ANY way other than on a x86 chromebook with developer mode turned off... So it hasn't been adapted to x86 linux yet at all, and it's probably a x86 binary plugin that...
