OSMC & RasPLEX Dual-Boot

Hi. Just thought I'd share this in case anyone was interested in a RasPLEX / KODI setup: http://www.multibootpi.com/builds/osmc-rasplex-dual-boot/ Both OS's are using their standard skins and each have a menu item inside that enables you to seamlessly launch the other OS. Any questions etc. just let...

Re: Retropie-Roms from Usb help

Hi. Just to throw my findings in - I tried this myself for the first time tonight and I thought about what would be the easiest way to do it without changing all the rom locations in 'es_systems.cfg' file. Well... I decided the best way to do it would be to delete everything inside the standard /hom...

Re: RetroPie / KODI / Raspbian – Triple-Boot build

Hi. Sorry I've been missing for a while - I've been working on my own new website to host my builds etc. (see my other post I just made in this forum) I have made a new triple-boot build using RetroPie 3.6, OpenELEC 6.0.3 and Raspbian "Jessie" and you can find it here: http://www.multibootpi.com/bui...

Multi-Boot RetroPie images (and more)

Hi all. Been a while since I posted on here - apologies for that - but I have now set up my own website for my multi-boot builds (along with 'how-to' guides etc. too). Hopefully its cool to post a link here (its all non-profit of course!), so here you go: http://www.multibootpi.com Its a fairly basi...

Re: RetroPie / KODI / Raspbian – Triple-Boot build

Oh and as for Wi-Fi issues in Rasbian - you would likely have to manually locate and install the driver's for your dongle in my old build however Jessie seems to have better suport out of the box for Wi-Fi dongles, as does OpenELEC 15.2. I didn't remove any functionality from any system, that is jus...

Re: RetroPie / KODI / Raspbian – Triple-Boot build

Hi all. I wasn't subscribed to this thread for some reason so didn't see all these posts. I haven't gave up on this build, I am just waiting for RetroPie 4 to be released before I make any new multi-boot packages. It takes too long to create these to justify a new build for every beta version of RP ...

Re: RetroPie / OpenELEC (KODI) Dual Boot Disc Image

I cant believe this. I stumbled across this forum last week after, as mentioned in a post here, I wasnt too impressed with the Kodi / Retropie dual boot images for sale on ebay, and when I finally get a chance to sit down and download Smithers excellent image, I find its been removed! Noooooooooooo...

Re: RetroPie / OpenELEC (KODI) Dual Boot Disc Image

I would like to try out the next "acceptable" build. I'd really like to know how you create these multi-boot images with the switching scripts. Please consider the following triple-boot for your next build. RetroPie 3.1 (with your tweaks/configuration) OSMC (with your theme and scripts) Raspbian (v...

I'm afraid not, however somebody was working on porting my build over to the Pi 1 so if you look through this thread (or the thread at RetroPie forums maybe?), then you may find what you need.

Any chance any one has the build that included the roms as I cant get all my roms to work. I know it will be 9GB or something but I can setup a private server for you to upload it too, no problem. Please message me if you do. Thanks a lot cant believe I missed this by a week. Hi. Just to confirm so...

Re: RetroPie / OpenELEC (KODI) Dual Boot Disc Image

Hi folks. Bad news post I'm afraid. Really sorry but I won't be continuing my builds any more. Seems I have upset the admin over at RetroPie forum and I have been banned. Would have rather they talked to me first to try and sort it out but too late now I guess. Not wanting to start a conversation on...

Hi, First of all, tnx and nice job done so far!.. That's right - OpenELEC v5.0.8 which is KODI v14.2 "Helix".

I found problems with KODI Isengard builds so I have moved away from them for now.

Re: RetroPie / OpenELEC (KODI) Dual Boot Disc Image

Hey Smithers loving your Triple Boot build, just a quick question, what happened to Alien vs Predator in the ports list, I remember seeing it listed in a few of your past builds but it has never shown up on my system, do I have to install it separately or has it been removed all together? Hi. Alien...

Re: RetroPie / OpenELEC (KODI) Dual Boot Disc Image

Hi Smithers, Just a couple of quick questions (if anyone else knows please post too): - Is it possible in OpenELEC to resume playing the last file easily? My files are buried on the card and a search feature or even resume would be awesome. Not sure if that exists... - Smithers, would you be able t...

Hi Smithers, thanks for your amazing work, I'm using your disc image for several weeks now and I'm really happy with it. Is it somehow possible to give the Kodi partition more discspace? My Kodi partition is running out of discspace and on the retropie partition I have more then 8 GB left. How can ...

Hey Smithers, Amazing job. Am en route to learning to use Linux and the beauty of writing scripts. Am gonna install ur beast mod...

RetroPie / KODI / Raspbian – Triple-Boot build

Hi. So its been a bit more tricky than first expected, but at long last – here is my RetroPie / KODI (OpenELEC) / Raspbian triple boot build: *REMOVED* As usual, this is a NOOBS installer build and installing via USB stick is HIGHLY recommended for this one, as the .tar files are on the large side a...

will it only work on 32 gb micro sd cards? Or is a script for resizing the partitions included?
Hi. All partitioning is handled through the NOOBS installer so no manual resizing necessary. It should work with any card from 8gb upwards (although 8gb would be a bit small!)

RetroPie / Rasplex Dual-Boot Image

Hey Smithers, I just wanted to say a HUGE thank you to you for all your hard work. It has both inspired and taught me a LOT about the Raspberry Pi and Linux code.
