Price per port for injection for a basic switch seems to be around £6 + POE splitter per port. I will have to say that those are nice idea's for getting POE onto the raspberry PI. but while they both do similar jobs in splitting the power from the data and then forwarding the data to the PI's network port, what my idea is to have the data go directly into network IC similar to LAN9512 on the...
