Re: disk full or not?

You can search for large files like this command.

Code: Select all

sudo find / -size +100M
That will find files greater than 100 mega bytes.

Re: Question about Network Booting on the Raspberry Pi 3

Have you read this from https://www.raspberrypi.org/documentation/hardware/raspberrypi/bootmodes/net.md What i can see you just enter one space at the end. The important part of the reply is the Vendor-Option Option 43. This needs to contain the string "Raspberry Pi Boot", although, due to a bug in ...

Re: problem with python script and crontab

First check what path you have in ordinary command line.

Why not try to add the path to python lib and to script before execute the python script.
Not exactly like this but similar.

@reboot (export PATH=$PATH:~/opt/bin;/usr/bin/python3 ~/opt/bin/script.py) &

You may be interested in my project Nard SDK. It prevents SD card corruption by simply not using it! Nard runs the entire OS from RAM. After bootup you can even remove the SD card and the system will continue to operate just fine. http://www.arbetsmyra.dyndns.org/nard/ Now we will discuss this agai...

Re: UBoot and FDT

Welcome to the club. *lol*
I have the same problem.
There for i suggested the solution for it above.
The firstbootloader bootcode.bin should pass this parameters (ATAGS) like mac framebuffer.
I don't know if this is the correct way of doing it. Maybe it should be passed trough the device tree.

Re: Raspberry Pi 3 running Jessie, OMXPlayer not running rig

Maybe it's the user that execute the php app, don't get access to all things that omxplayer needs.

You could try to add sudo.
But don't run as root.
User: pi

Code: Select all

sudo -u pi sh -c 'omxplayer -o local /var/www/html/xxx/thisvideo.mp4 > /dev/null 2> /dev/null'

No, don't do that.
Can you explain to me why ??
Don't you need the new firmware files into /boot part ?
You can run rpi-update without install new kernel.

Just like this: echo $(($(cat /sys/class/thermal/thermal_zone0/temp)/1000)) And to my suggestion for making graphs, don't use mrtg. You can't monitor "-" value...

Try to append quote chars to the url.
rtmpdump -v -r 'rtmp://myip:1935/live'
or double quote char "
rtmpdump -v -r "rtmp://myip:1935/live"
I think your ":" char interfering with the shell.

Do you delete posts in the database ??
You may use vacuum, to compact the database.
Make a backup first to make sure you have the data if something goes wrong.

Code: Select all

sqlite3 databasename "vacuum;"
