Is there something I can do to create an underscore as the cursor? When I use a different SSH client, Bitvise SSH Client, there are no options for setting the type of cursor, blinking, underline, vertical line, etc.. As top guy said, this appears to be left to the SSH client program and not the Rasp...

Exactly what I thought. I am not connecting a power hungry device like a usb optical drive, which definitally requires a usb powered hub. As for my current setup, it's just a keyboard and the wifi 2.4Ghz mouse dongle on the first port.
