Re: Edimax EW7811UAC (RTL8812) - 802.11ac AP mode
Sorry to post in this thread, but maybe someone can help me. I´am using a "TP-Link WL-USB Archer T4U" with the RTL8812 chipset on my Raspberry Pi2. I installed it with the Script from MrEngman described in this thread and got success. My wifi is using the same SSID for 2,4Ghz and 5 Ghz, is...

Re: PiKrellCam: motion vector detect + OSD web interface
Hi all, Today i change the locales on one of my pikrellcam raspi´s to "de_DE.UTF-8" After a reboot of the pi the annotation string has changed to a german style (24hours), fine. But after a manual stop/start of pikrellcam via the GUI the annotation string switched back to the old style (1...

Re: PiKrellCam: motion vector detect + OSD web interface
Wow, cool new feature well done.
Is it planned to show the data of the csv file direcly in the recorded movie, something like an overlay? If i look in the csv, for me it is not possible to determine where in the picture the detection really was.

Re: PiKrellCam: motion vector detect + OSD web interface
Hi, playing around with PiKrellcam for a while now and I must say a great piece of code. One thing about the motion detection. Is there a way that I can see (after the recording is done) where the motion detection exactly was in the picture and which threshold of vector_magnitute and vector_count is...

Re: PiKrellCam: motion vector detect + OSD web interface
Hi, Yesterday I changed to mjpeg_width 800 mjpeg_quality 12 motion_area_min_side 80 and I got several false positives during the night (outside camera), but i cannot locate why. My question is if i lower the mjpeg quality is this influencing something of the motion detection? Is pikrellcam using the...

Re: PiKrellCam: motion vector detect + OSD web interface
Using the -tmp parameter of mp4box pointing to a different directory does the trick. My /tmp is in Ram (tmpfs) and 70MB in size and therefore to small. I now changed the parameter RAMTMP from yes to no in /etc/default/tmpfs so that the Pi is not using /tmp in RAM anymore. But it would be fine (if it...

Re: PiKrellCam: motion vector detect + OSD web interface
One question, is 1296x972 the highest resolution for full Field of View, or is more possible? I tried 1944x1458 in the config file but it falls back to 1080p. Yes, 1296 x 972 is the maximum if you want the full field of view. To get that you have to read out the full 5 Mpix (2592 x 1944) sensor, bu...

But you will be right, thx for the info.

Re: Single static IP address for eth0
Thx for this tip about the static configuration in dhcpcd.conf.
One question, what will happen if a configured IP in the dhcpcd.conf file is already in use by another device in the network, will then a free ip assigned to the Pi?

Re: PiKrellCam: motion vector detect + OSD web interface
I just enabled the parameter annotate_show_motion in the conf file, but the video only shows me
Motion ( 0, 0) Integrated Offset ( 0, 0)
and nothing more during the video playback.

Re: PiKrellCam: motion vector detect + OSD web interface
