Try using the sudo nano command to open lightdn.con.
It will overwrite the existing file when you save it.
The changes should take place after restart if I understand it.

More video formats on omxplayer?

Is there any plans for the possibility to play .flv-files and .iso-files on the omxplayer? I have tried to install vlc but it seems to not play the files I want to see. ;) Used for the files it plays the omxplayer is very good! Nice picture, smooth flow and no freezing. It would be great if it worke...

Writing rights?

I have an external HDD for watching videos but now I want to move 1 file from the Raspberry to the HDD but I don't seem to have writing permission on it. How do I fix that?

If I recall right from earlier there is something else then Java for Linux, am I right?
