For any American RPiers out there, I spotted a small handfull of cheap, small LCD TVs for under $100 on Amazon and Google Shopping. Also, Amazon had a number of very cheap (probably crap) keyboards for $10-$15 with low shipping fees.  So, I think there are quite a few options out there.
