Re: Wi-Fi Controlled Robotic Vehicle

<r>Hello people.<br/> <br/> I've just run my wifi robot. I'm using iOmega iConnect for the time being but I'll switch to RPi once I get my board. I'm using an Arduino Mega as I have 5 sonar range sensors and 2 servos for the wheels. I'm also building a pan-tilt-split head which needs 4 more so I nee...

Re: Use a raspberry pi to make a laser game ?

Hummm. Any small pic board will do. But as you'll have to use it on a person, you'd better use a Lilypad. Link is on my upper posts.

Re: Use a raspberry pi to make a laser game ?

I've just seen Gert's board V1 and said wow!

@Laurent : If you're not in a hurry you can just wait for Gert's V2. You can do all you need with this expansion.

Re: Use a raspberry pi to make a laser game ?

<t>Hello Laurent,<br/> <br/> If you make or buy a small MCU board (such as; Arduino, BasicStamp, PicBoard etc), IMHO USB is the easiest way to communicate with this board. These small MCU's can easily be interfaced with various sensors and devices so :<br/> <br/> 1. You can not destroy your valuable...

Re: Arduino-like custom breakout board

<t>As a fellow robot builder I'd wanna see some additional stuff on the board. Could you add :<br/> <br/> 1. RTC (it can boot and run standalone an even tell RPi the time)<br/> <br/> 2. A 2A HBridge controller (to drive two DC motors when we need to make it mobile without pwm)<br/> <br/> 3. 0.1 head...

Re: ReactOS , not Windows !

<t>I followed ReactOS for many years. We, as a company, tried hard to make it work with cheap hardware in order to bundle and distribute our ".Net 2.0 software".<br/> <br/> The project is a very good one and maybe even noble in a way, but it is only a child and grows very slowly. It started with int...

Re: Use a raspberry pi to make a laser game ?

<r>Sure it is!<br/> <br/> With a little tinkering; I'd saw multiple sensors on various parts of the clothing to identify hits on different body parts. You can use <URL url="http://arduino.cc/en/Main/Ardu.....ardLilyPad">http://arduino.cc/en/Main/Ardu.....ardLilyPad</URL> or you can just use GPIO's o...

Re: Free Pascal compiler for the Pi (freepascal.org)

+1 for Pascal and Lazarus on Rpi!

I'll code my software with Pascal if I can.

Re: Servo control

<t>Hello,<br/> <br/> I'm checking the forum right now. If I can't find one I'll create a topic/project about controlling a USB attached Arduino board with either a daemon, a small application or shell.<br/> <br/> I think leaving every sensor, servo and other physical "chores" to arduino is the best ...
