Re: DraStic DS emulator for RPi 2/3 - beta testers wanted
I see a post about good performance, but is there anyone that can comment on the performance, including the game that is being tested?

Mag Pi Printing in the USA
I would love to have paper copies of Mag Pi, but my local retailers want close to $20+ for copies. Has their been any talk of a printing company in the USA printing copies and stocking them locally for a cheaper price?

Custom built Pi 0
I know in the past, if you ordered enough Raspberry Pi B+'s you could customize them. I was thinking the other day, that it would be awesome to get a Pi Zero with Pi 2's processor for around $10 a board.
With that said, is it possible to customize Pi Zero's if bought in bulk?
Thanks!

Good thinking! I'll try raspbian tonight.B.Goode wrote:Purely for diagnostic purposes, not because I think your selection of OS is wrong, have you considered installing Raspbian on the two PiZeros, just to see whether they are reliable with the recommended/supported OS from the RPF?

Pi Zero Issues
Alright everyone, I'm stumped! I have two raspberry pi zeros(one for me and one for my step daughter). We're making Gaming Systems, with Retropie OS. I got both image's going for the pi's(one is 3.3 other is 3.4) but I found that one pi will boot to the Retropie Splash screen logo and then it shows ...

For the unstable raspberry pi zero image, I need to get a copy of Noobs Lite and throw the image in the the image folder right?
Also when the image becomes stable and official, I'll have an update that pops up on the screen like the other images correct?

Re: Retropie on RPi Zero
Are you sure it's over-clocked out of the box? I installed retropie on my zero and it was set at 700MHz since it's a raspberry pi 1 image. I ran sudo raspi-config and bumped it up to turbo.

I bought a bluetooth dongle off amazon and then synced my ps3 controller through the settings menu(Pretty darn simple). An Xbox Wireless receiver should do the trick for the Xbox Controller. Re: RetroPi or RetroAndroid?
I've tried Lakka, Recalbox and Retropie. Recalbox, is basically Retropie, but heavily customized. I personally have found that with Recalbox, I spend less time setting up controls and the things of that nature. Here is a video of Recalbox in action. Keep in mind this is from 9 months ago so a lot of...

Re: RetroPi or RetroAndroid?
I cannot confirm it will be better than the tablet, but I can say it would be easier for 2 player gaming. I didn't see anything on the tablet having a video out port and it had 1 micro USB port. Makes it more difficult to use if you want to play multiplayer on the TV. Your micro USB port would go to...

PS3 controller config for MAME and FBA
Could someone please assist me in setting a button to the insert coin hotkey.
I was thinking about using the PlayStation Button in the middle of the controller. How do I know which number refers to which button on the controller.
Thanks,
CJ

Re: Emulators on Raspberry Pi 2
I currently use Retropie and Lakka, which both work wonderful, but I would like to play other emulators that aren't currently on there. Would this be because of the pi's hardware or the code for the emulators hasn't been optimized correctly yet?

Emulators on Raspberry Pi 2
Dear Community, Would you say that the Raspberry Pi 2 is holding me back from Playing Sega Saturn, Dreamcast, Nintendo DS, and N64 or is it more than capable, but the emulators need further optimization? The Reason I ask is you can get boards like Orange Pi PC, and Odroid C1 for the same price or ch...
