Re: nRF24L01 with raspberry pi and rest api

These libraries:

- RadioHead (http://www.airspayce.com/mikem/arduino/ ... index.html)
- RF24 (https://github.com/TMRh20/RF24)

will do the task......
Those packages provide library for arduino and raspberry pi.

Re: Compiled Qt 5.x/4.x static libs?

Sound good itsagoodquestion, From my experience, upx-ed binary of wxWidgets yields me about 600KB for simple application, and arround 1MB-ish for more complex code... That's all depend on your purpose in deploying the program. Smaller cpu/ram such Raspberry Pi or upcoming C.H.I.P computer, sure... w...

Re: Compiled Qt 5.x/4.x static libs?

Hi, I used to work with Qt previously and quite satisfied with this very complete library. Linking statically is possible, but I think it will break licensing scheme, isn't it? Beside, with static linking will make binary code become bloat. Until I found awesome library, wxWidgets, very stable and c...

RF24 without root priviledges

Hi there,
Does any one have an idea how to run RF24 library without root priviledges?
I want my desktop/gui program running with normal user account without setuid. The GUI based on wxWidgets and have a worker thread to read data using RF24 (https://github.com/TMRh20/RF24) library.

Library for LT8900 module (2.4GHz Transceiver)

Hi colleagues, LT8900 2.4GHz transceiver module is very low cost and seem to have low power consumption. It seem almost similar to nRF24L01. Do you have any idea how to wiring and drive this module with Raspberry Pi? Hope there is c++ class library for Pi. So far, there is an arduino lib available a...

Re: Minimal Linux kernel package

Hi,
buildroot is what you need to generate both rootfs and tool chain.

Get it here http://buildroot.uclibc.org, or see my brief tutorial at http://yasriady.blogspot.co.id/2015/10/ ... ry-pi.html

After built finish, get your rootfs at output/images/

Good luck guys....

For Windows IDE, you may download: - Netbeans C++ (http://download.netbeans.org/netbeans/8.0.2/final/bundles/netbeans-8.0.2-cpp-linux.sh) - gnuToolchain compiler (http://sysprogs.com/files/gnutoolchains/raspberry/raspberry-gcc4.9.2.exe) Then configure your netbeans with that gnuToolchain... If you're using windows, go and download Windows toolchain for Raspberry/PI (http://gnutoolchains.com/raspberry/) and then configure your IDE to use this compiler. Toolchain is sets of application to build and compile your source codes into target binary format. Codeblocks is one of prominent IDE, b...

Among existing language around: python, scratch, c/c++, Java, or another interpreter language will work fine in raspberry pi. For me, I make use of c++ due to it's native implementation on the machine. With c/c++ you could make direct access to the hardware, memory, irq, gpio, and etc... Aside, with...
