Find source of sound

I want to hook up some microphones to a raspberry pi, and use something like triangulation to determine the location, or at least direction, of the source of a sound. Is there any existing source code and/or build details to do something like this? I'm thinking this would be a cool way to build inte...

I'm interested in this also, but haven't tried anything yet. I think Navit is the way to go for navigation software. One approach could be to install Android 4 on Raspberry Pi (coming soon): http://www.raspberrypi.org/archives/1700 and then install Navit on Android: http://wiki.navit-project.org/ind...

Thanks eggn1n3, the mmio example looks reasonable enough, provided all the magic numbers are documented somewhere.

Hi,

Can anyone give me a pointer to documentation/samples showing how to code for the GPIO-pins on the Raspberry Pi? I can imagine a few cool projects where I'd use the GPIO, but I've never done that sort of development in Linux before.
