Once you have the MAC addresses you can look those up against their IPv4 addresses with arp -a -n Yes, it works partially. I have bridged interface wlan0 and eth0, when I use arp -a, I can see only machines connected through wired connection, but no wireless devices. My network configuration should...

Thank you! I just recompiled kernel for my RPi 2 to have LED indicators for CPU load, wifi activity etc... It works perfectly!!!! The only thing is to add next items to led array in source code. I spent long time to find howto for this functionality, which I missed in raspbian in compare to OpenWrt....
