IoTivity

I'm not sure if this is the correct place to ask regarding building IoTivity for raspberry but using yocto to make an embedded linux and not raspbian?

I get a lot of compile errors inside boost library and hence nothing is build that requires boost

Re: http get and post

I had to install libcurl4-openssl-dev in order to have access to curl.h file In my program I link with curl library and I #include <curl/curl.h> everything compiles fine but when I run the program from inside Code::Blocks then the program crashes with SIGILL illegal instruction call and I don't have...

Re: http get and post

From what I understood from curl's documentation the library is blocking. Is there a parameter to use to make it non-blocking?

Or is there some other library that is non-blocking?

HowTo: Mouse & Keyboard with EGL?

I've created a game with SDL2 and OpenGL ES 1.1 but as I have only 0.5fps the game isn't playable. I've followed all tutorials/samples/examples on how to build the SDL2 library with various flags with same result. So I've thrown away the SDL2 library and all rendering now is with EGL and OpenGL ES 1...

Slow performance with SDL2

I have compiled on the raspberry pi 2, the SDL2 family libraries (SDL2, SDL2_image, SDL2_mixer, SDL2_ttf) several times using different configuration parameters. The only way to have anything rendered on the screen was not using any parameter for the SDL2 library: ../configure && make && sudo make i...

Help on packaging game for the store

I don't know if this is the correct place to ask this question, but I need some help with packaging my game (executable, icons and media resources) so that I can upload them to the store. I am new to Linux/Unix programming. I have finished my game (in C++) I have my icon and all files needed by the ...

Re: backward slash please

Have tried it but didn't work

The keyboard layout has the backslash on the lower line, left from the space bar:

Left-Ctrl, Win-Logo, Left-Alt, Backslash & Pipe symbols, Spacebar, Right-Alt, Win-Menu, Right-Ctrl

Re: backward slash please

What I did was to install a third keyboard layout: US, Gr and UK, so now when I want to use the backslash and pipe symbols I turn to the UK keyboard layout

Which distribution for c/c++ development?

I have an idea for a game, but don't know which OS distribution I should install for c/c++ development. For the first version I will need the SDL library for graphics, but if everything goes as I hope, then at some point I'll need to access the built-in I/O card in order to connect other devices on ...

Re: Hdmi and RCa video output

I am in Greece, but don't think it's country specific. It depends on the encoding used by the device. I have a camcorder (analogue) and when I wanted to digitize my recordings I connected it to the PC I selected from the camcorder's menu the setting PAL and not NTSC because of the higher resolution ...

Re: Hdmi and RCa video output

I have a similar problem cannot connect to my TV tuner using RCA. But have another question, from the tv-tuner's software I can select my source's video format between various PAL, NTSC or SECAM formats.

What should I choose?
