Thanks for the reply. I ended up splitting a USB wire for the job. Probably alot better keeping the soldering Iron away from the board.

Ok I was able to fix the black screen issue and the crashing on execution with pcsx_rearmed. Its running fine on my rpi 2. Ive figured out this much the problem my psxmap having is a memory issue cannot find it. I can get pre-compiled binarys working in X. Not in console though. Not that its not running I can hear the sounds of the roms but its just a black screen.
