Re: USB Keyboard with built in hub works on B+ but not A+

The Keyboard is connected directly to Device bus 001 for both A+ & B+ Neither config uses the Hub. ie: Bus 001 Device 002: ID 0424:9514 Standard Microsystems Corp. Re: USB Keyboard with built in hub works on B+ but not A+

Hi Sorry, I am aware of those limitations. I am not plugging any devices into the keyboard when it is attached to either the A+ or B+. The device works (as a keyboard) on the B+ but not on the A+ I do not carry further hubs as mostly all my PI's are configured as headless. Even with the downstream l...

Re: USB Keyboard with built in hub works on B+ but not A+

To be clear, the B+ had the SD card & the PSU from the A+ (swapped them)

I have managed to do what I was aiming, by moving the SD card from A+ to B+ configure the wireless adaptor (shown in the LSUSB dump) & put it back into the A+. But is a worry I couldn't configure it directly on the A+.

Re: USB Keyboard with built in hub works on B+ but not A+

I am sorry but lsusb -v will print a verbose output on the B+ & the device works on the B+ both the B+ & A+ are using the same PSU & the same micro SD.

More useful would be lsusb on the A+, as this would show the device isn't there (unpowered or underpowered)
Confirmed other keyboards work.

USB Keyboard with built in hub works on B+ but not A+

I have all of the Pi revisions. I have been using a USB keyboard with 2 port built in hub. This works in default on the B+, but not at all on the A+ Is there a way to allow the full 500ma out to A+ USB port, on the old Model B this was as easy as removing the Poly fuses. I am using a good quality 5V...
