Re: Video4Linux2 driver ready!

Update: It looks like the video element in the page requires the autoplay attribute to be set: Try this test page (update the signalling server address to the correct one (your Rpi host)): http://www.linux-projects.org/downloads/examples/webrtc_example.html It works!! I think WebRTC should change t...

Re: Video4Linux2 driver ready!

Hi, Mainly I have no problem on installation and getting WebRCT working. But I have 2 problems: When I start playing the media stream with the browser in my Android phone, only a still frame can be display, but it works fine on my desktop computer. I cannot change the resolution and format with the ...

Re: Problem streaming to Windows with Gstreamer SDK

Just did it on Eclipse. Not very straight forward. See how I did it here: http://javaappdesign.blogspot.hk/2015/0 ... -with.html.

I don't know why I need to define NULL myself. Any idea?

Re: Help choose best streaming option for Android as client

I admit I'm a great fans of Eclipse. Though I can use Android Studio without much problem as long as NDK is not in the picture. So I think I'll give Eclipse another try. Until one of listed items below would happen: Android Studio get official NDK support VideoView under Android platform can play vi...

Re: Help choose best streaming option for Android as client

r10d is still not working. I know it because I'm using this combination right now. I'm not sure if Google want to let NDK die slowly. If I have to use old tool, it would be better for me to move back to ADT for Eclipse. What do you think?

Re: Help choose best streaming option for Android as client

How to config Android Studio to to make it work with NDK and Gstreamer? After a failure to make gst-rtsp-server work for me, I really want to know. Thanks.

Re: Problem streaming to Windows with Gstreamer SDK

Using baseline profile doesn't help. Though I know it is required on Android.

Re: Problem streaming to Windows with Gstreamer SDK

That's bad news for me. I've been trying to use Android to playback video stream sending from rtsp-server running in RPi. I wish to use the VideoView in Android since I really don't want to use Android NDK at this moment. (Google is promoting Android Studio but it doesn't work with NDK :x . What are...

Re: Problem streaming to Windows with Gstreamer SDK

I'm a bit confused. I have been checking all these gst packages in Raspbian for a few days. In my knowledge the "official" packages of Gstreamer1.0 under Raspiban are on 1.2.0 version. Which cannot support to build gst-rtsp-server 1.2.3. That's why I need the newer version (1.2.4) from vontaene.de. ...

Re: Problem streaming to Windows with Gstreamer SDK

Hi thaytan,

I'm interested in using the rpicamsrc, but I cannot add the package repository under http://vontaene.de/raspbian-updates/. Cause I can't find the public key for it. Would you share how can I fix this? Thanks.

Re: Use fdsrc of GStreamer within Python

Thanks. Though finally I found that the problem is due to a bug in my code that linked the elements incorrectly. I fixed it and it works as expect. I may try the Rpi camera source later, but right now I need to focus on another problem I have. I need to make gst-rtsp-server works for me. I'll start ...

Re: struggling to increase and decrease motor speed

I think you are using something like L9100s to control the motor. Which use only 2 digital inputs to control everything of one motor. Usually you use 1 pin to control the rotation direction and another one for PWM. Consider you use pin A to control the direction and pin B for speed. Note that, if yo...

Use fdsrc of GStreamer within Python

Hi everyone, I'm trying to build a simple GStreamer pipeline to play the video captured by the pi camera with Python. With gst-launch, I can do it successfully as below: raspivid -n -w 960 -h 540 -b 4500000 -fps 8 -vf -hf -t 0 -o - | gst-launch-1.0 -v fdsrc ! h264parse ! omxh264dec ! videoconvert ! ...

Main Stream WiFi dongle support 5GHz

Hi, I know that some other had been asking similar question before. However I had done much googling but still can't find a very good answer. I want to get a new WiFi dongle that support 5GHz band. Many forum post points me to http://elinux.org/RPi_USB_Wi-Fi_Adapters , but I found that products list...
