i had the same issue recently, sd copier and other cloneing methods failed, i ended up writing a freshly downloaded clean image of raspbian and wrote it to the card and reinstalled from that

it Not connected to the gpio, its connected to my adafruit boost 1000 via the low battery warning pin and the 5v output. the warning pin switches the transistor on when it goes low thus letting 5v 1A to my buzzer from the 5v output on the boost 1000. it makes a high pitch whine when the battery goes...

cant get buzzer to work help please

ive got a buzzer but all it does is make a high whineing sound when power is applyed to it. 5v 1a.
the power to it it tuned on/off by a little transistor, does it need a resistor before the buzzer?
its not being pwm driven as its connected in a power status circuit

help please

its really simple;

step 1, clone sd to hdd
step 2, shutdown pi
step 3, remove sd card
step 4, power pi back up
step 5, enjoy your new hdd installed os

this assumes your on a pi 3 B+
on the pi 3 B you have to fist set the boot bit in the firmware.

the easyest way to add multiple devices to your pi (eg.. sensors) is to use the i2c pins, you can have lots of devices connected through i2c at the same time without problems as long as each device has a different identifiing address.

i was wondering how to know if a screen is pi compatable, im after a 2.8" screen but am having trouble locating one from the uk pi supplyers as all the spi screens ive seen say for arduino,

hopefully someone can give me some links to a nice 2.8" spi screen that is pi compatible

need advice on screen for zero w without desktop

i have a zero w running as the controller for my pi-tank that boots to command line that i connect to,
is it possible to display the command line interface on a SPI screen??

im hoping this is possible as then i could run its python programs without having to connect to it via WIFI with my laptop

ive installed TCL/Tk (Tk8.5) but the wish command is not working.

"wish ./build.tk" is the command im trying to run to install, am i missing another dependancy??

it says "If you have Tcl/Tk (wish 4.1 or higher) installed and are running X Windows:" to get the gui for it.
whats Tcl/Tk ?? and how do i install it??

i would only be connecting to the net with it once every several months. it seems weird to use a online service for off-line use when it needs to be online to work.

thanks i checked and i hadnt installed with sudo.

is there a list of its python commands anywhere and what to import to access it from my python program

it has 2 manuals full of command line commands, but i cant find anything about how to use it in python
