Re: Pi Reboot

I plug in the Pi to my television like I normally do. Then, the screen stays black for a bit, before turning to a colored screen that just says, 'Press Shift for Recovery'. If I press shift, it goes to the list of all the programs I can reinstall. If I don't do anything, the screen goes black again,...

When it did, it either gave me the option to reboot or just shut off completely. I don't want to have to reinstall everything on it and lose all my co...

Re: SD cards

So, I can just put it into the programming board and get started with the programming?? How would I go about doing that?

Sorry if I seem ignorant, but this my first time doing this and I don't have a teacher!

Thanks so much!

Re: SD cards

So that won't function as an adapter?

So, then, is there anything in the kit I could use to hook up the card to my laptop? Or will I need to purchase something?
If I do, do you have any links or suggestions?

Thanks very much!

SD cards

I just bought a CanaKit Model B+ Pi. However, the SD card is way smaller than my SD card slot (I have a MacBook).
How do I connect the SD card to my Mac so I can download Raspbian onto it?

Thanks!
