Re: Movian (previously Showtime) now runs on RPi 2

Cool! The latest versions of Movian also support automatic mounting of media over USB. A feature that's asked by a lot of people it seems. Thank you. What do you mean with "automatic mounting of media over USB"? I'm using sd-2.1.2 , but nothing happens when insert a pendrive with a bunch of films. ...

Re: Movian (previously Showtime) now runs on RPi 2

Thank you andoma. It works like a charm on rpi2. And the best lan speeds, about 60mbps running a blu-ray 1:1 rip from my nas (upnp source). Better than openelec. :D

Re: editing /etc/network/interfaces for gigabit ethernet ada

Yes, I know I can't get gigabit speed. Just want to get a little more speed streaming 1:1 bluray rips.

By the way, do you know what lines I have to add in /etc/network/interfaces to make the adapter work?

Thanks.

editing /etc/network/interfaces for gigabit ethernet adapter

I have planned to buy an USB gigabit ethernet adapter (model Trendnet TU3-ETG).

According to http://elinux.org/RPi_USB_Ethernet_adapters that model works well on a Raspberry Pi 2.

Can you tell how configure /etc/network/interfaces in order to work the new adapter?

Thank you.

How to enable NFS shares over UDP (/system.d script)

Hello, I have a Synology DS215j NAS attached to a TP-Link TL-WDR4300 router. My home network easily supports up to 80 or 90 mbps, but I only get about 27 mbps (3.2MB/s) in Kodi's internal NFS network mount. I pretty much always experienced stuttering while playing 1:1 bluray rips streaming from my N...
