OK... Hi.. This is great!! just moved to this from RPI cam ( trying to fix writing to nas issue ) but.. Hope you guys can help I already have a nas mount with pi/pi as the ownerships. If I use default raspimjpeg file that writes to the sd card.. the interface and the buttons work. Trouble is with this screen from banggood. They give you drivers for the screen.. but it`s in a .img file
I don`t want that.. I just want to install the drivers on an existing installation.. .

Can anyone help ??

I had to force hdmi something in the config.txt
That file is in the /boot I think.

Found the original.

Try this..

If HDMI, have you uncommented/added “hdmi_drive=2″ in /boot/config.txt? (Needed to get sound in screen modes other than the standard HDMI resolutions (e.g. 1280×720, 1920×1080, etc.)

Ok... Does 1.6 work on Rpi2? because I`ve img`d a few times on different cards and it doesn`t boot at all..

I`ve double checked everything. Retropie works so I know I don`t have a duff pi2..
