full screen mode with opencv

Why does re-sizing a video window to full screen in OpenCV (installed on RPI ) slow down the camera footage.
the function used is: setWindowProperty("Image", CV_WND_PROP_FULLSCREEN, 1);
is there another way to do that?

script for rca

Hello.
my question is how to make a script on "opencv or otherwise" to control the RCA output in the raspberry pi B+,
i need to send a video to the RCA output within an application that i made with qt and opencv, "my purpose is to send just a video " .
thanks in advance.

Re: composite video out

thanks Ghans.
i tried a lot of capture cards and you are right, one of all worked with me.
working in full screen mode is not what i am asking about,but it seems to be an interim solution.
thanks again.

composite video out

hello everybody. i am working on a video processing project, my questions is if there is a possibility to show only processed video frames (without the entire application) through the RCA output in the raspberry pi ?
Thanks in advance.
