Keyboard

Hello all, is there such a thing as a bad keyboard? The reason i ask this is because i have had video issue's with my PI 2, which i have now returned as faulty, (I don't know if it was faulty, but a CPC tech guy thought it was, and i didn't know what the heck else to do and the time was almost up!) ...

Thanks, how would i do this please, and where would i find that, i have had this device just over a day, so im not familiar with that or anything about it tbh

forgot to mention that i have a keyboard connected as well which is a
microsoft wireless laser 6000 v2, I have no other usb devices in as i don't have a spare mouse and all i really want to do is index and stream from a NAS.
