Oh, I do actually have the Atari Lynx (two of them, to be exact) + the programmable cartridge. I will check out the mentioned stuff for sure! Thanks a lot!!

...although - that's true - the game works also on the Sinclair ZX81. :P
But the audiovisual binding there - is strongly different. :) Also, the ZX81 version requires the ZXpand interface anyway, heh. ;)

Interactive novel / a text-adventure game for the Rpi3 to download.

http://yerzmyey.i-demo.pl/nihilum01.jpg Hi. Didn't know actually whether to put this thread into "Gaming" or rather not....? This is not a typical "gaming stuff", I'd imagine, as it is an interactive novel (called back in the days a text-adventure game, or a game-book in the non-digital world :) )....

Re: New EP music-album entirely on the Raspberry Pi

I kindly thank You guys. Well, the system in my case is always Raspbian, as I'm not good with Linux, so the Raspbian is rather comfortable version for "Windows XP people" like me. ;) As for the utilities, like I mentioned elsewhere, this time I used the MilkyTracker editor with the RPi2 computer (no...

Re: Raspberry Pi and Commodore64 SID emulation

It's the GoatTracker what has been used, works very stably and I can recommend it.
Maybe in May I will check out how RPi would work while a concert. I hope it will be OK.

PS: Yes, the Schism is cool but of course it's designed for sample/digital music.

Raspberry Pi and Commodore64 SID emulation

Well, a friend asked me once whether it's worth to buy the Raspberry Pi for making music (especially - chiptune / 8-bit / micromusic, like on vintage computers). SID's emulation itself is not a problem for the RPI obviously, but I was wondering how would SID emulation sound from the Broadcom BCM2836...

Well, I don't have this problem, as I make music with R_Pi2 and it come out like this: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=ebWzioL-qJw Was that using Sonic Pi? Sounded good. Re: Meet Raspberry Pi Zero: the $5 computer

Well, I understand it but still agree with Kusti. I'm a musician and if I'd like to buy the Zero, I would like to use it for music. I would think that a musician would want to use his own sound output and not the very basic one that would be built into a system like this anyway. Well, I don't have ...

Re: Meet Raspberry Pi Zero: the $5 computer

Re: My Retro Pie isn't working suddenly

Thanks man, I already did.
The phenomenon is strange. It has been written, after all, that the "bioses" should be put into the BIOS catalogue. Hm, really odd.

The error appears every time when I put all the ROMs/BIOSes (maaaaaany of them) into the

Really? Not a clue? Anybody?

My Retro Pie isn't working suddenly

Hello. Surprisingly I managed to install it correctly and it even worked. For a day. I didn't change anything in config - nothing like this. Just was copying new games into the card. From a memory-stick. Now it's dead. The last thing I can see is the "Emulation Station: Loading". Then I can see only...

Hello, Thank You very much, although it’s rather Pi’s merit than mine, haha. :) I just glue some notes into a bunch of them. ;) Anyway, I would never think that such a small computer can do this stuff. On the other hand, UK computers were always based on the CPU’s power and usually had not entirely ...

Hello.
Well, I bought something like this

and it works very well, I'd say.
PS: Without an additional psu, still - R_Pi is very stable. Although it's the "2" model.

Re: RaspberryPi Drum Machine/Sequencer

I tried to install this "amSynth" thing.
I made everything exactly like the TXT file suggested. On a standard R_Pi2, nothing strange there.

It has shown so many errors and expressed such a vast inability to do _anything_ that I deleted it instantly.
