Re: Pycharm on raspian/PI

Does it put a shortcut on the desktop? Don't see how you start it. I just extracted the downloaded file right in the downloads folder and it created a subfolder pycharm community -- in the bin folder, I see pycharm.sh Not sure how I just run the program. Do I have to do it from the prompt? Because ...

Re: clone sd card?

Neither do 4GB, 8GB, 64GB, etc. They're all slightly undersized, often by differing amounts. It's quite normal. If it's a plain non-NOOBS Raspbian you're attempting to copy, try this.....

Re: I'm having more problems with new username

I take your point about waiting till I am sure its running ok but as I am so new to all this there is really nothing on the sd card yet to lose except the basic setup. So far because of all my mistakes I must have re installed rasbian about 10 times in the last 3 days . and I dont expect it will be ...

noob mistake

I just installed the noobs disk onto my R Pi

It all worked fine but being a noob I had to mess with it and I managed to remove
the little icon up on the top right next to the speaker icon .
It was the one that showed Lan and wireless connections .

How can I get it back again?
