Re: The Correct way to add a RTC

It would make sense but I doubt the battery is the problem here. The ds3231 chip has a freshness seal which prevents the chip from draining the battery until it has powered once via the vcc pin. (its more complex than that but... your are welcome to google it for the exact info) I was able to get it...

Re: The Correct way to add a RTC

You have problems reading the clock, but how is the clocks time/date in the module initially set? I thought you would need to hwclock -s or hwclock -w at some point when the system clock is correct, otherwise just reading will return the factory defaults, ie corrupt data. (I could be wrong!)., Texy...

Re: Need help updating the openssh-server package

@rpdom I may end up having to do that but it involves way more changes then I was hoping to make. Isn't there a way to install the openssh-server package from jessie on weazzy? What if I did what you suggest but only ran an apt-get install openssh-server? wouldn't only the package and its dependency...

Re: Need help updating the openssh-server package

The changes are with the PermitOpen feature

Since version 6.1 you can use "PermitOpen none" in SSHD_config to block all ports

Need help updating the openssh-server package

Hi,

Long story short, I need to use a feature only available since OpenSSH 6.1.

Unfortunatly, the OpenSSH package available in Raspbian's repository is lagging behind at versin 6.0 while the current version is now at 6.6

What are my options?
