Re: Paspberry Pi Zero W - adding uFL connector for ext antenna

One would think that similar approach can be used to improve next products: The following two different antenna options are available in the ODIN-W2 series: ODIN-W260 equipped with dual U.FL. coaxial connectors for external antennas. Different types of external antennas are available and can be used...

I know it's older topic, but I just wonder what about something like this:
The board supports the selection of on-board chip antenna, or external antenna via u.Fl connector. :o

Emulating a Multiple Hop Network

It is recommended that you increase buffer sizes to avoid flow control under normal operating conditions. A larger buffer size reduces the potential for flow control to occur, and results in improved CPU utilization. However, a large buffer size can have a negative effect on performance in some cas...

Re: RPi 3B+ gigabit ethernet bad download speeds.

iperf3 with flow control on the switch turned OFF, showed many many retries - 5 times that of the onboard device. (10k vs 2k). With flow control turned ON, retries under all circumstances for all devices was minimal. I would also compare that with dongle connected to desktop USB 2.0 port and Pi Des...

Does anyone know another linux system that can run on RPi3B + with ethernet enabled so I can try it out and see if the problem is the raspbian ethernet kernel driver? They are ready from day one. There is example of UDP test with bandwidth flag. Now on RPi3B+ iperf3 -c YYY.YYY.Y.YYY ... Now your PC...

Re: RPi 3B+ gigabit ethernet bad download speeds.

In my opinion something is wrong about gigabit ethernet adapter on Raspbian 2018-03-13. Note that something was also wrong earlier So the adapter can handle the speed but something is throttling the speed using speedtest-cli. My suggestion is some kernel parameters are interfering the connection vi...

Smart charging uses the two data pins in a USB host port. The micro-USB socket on RPis has only the two power pins connected. Even if the powerbank provides smart charging information, the RPi does not see it. Even if it did, the information would be of no use. We should be more interested in pass-...
