GUI login?

Hello!
After doing a bit of programming this pre-evening, I just thought "is there a GUI login"
After seeing i needed Gnome, I wondered if anyone had found anything else ?

Thanks

Re: Booted but very slow?

As rurwin says, there was problems with the fedora, you would be best off using debian squeeze!
It's just as good ;)

Case thoughts

Hello! The other day after looking for a case for my raspberry pi, i looked over at my iPhone 4s case, and thought "this looks the right-ish size" tried it, and it didn't fit too bad! (the case was to long for the pi though) but if someone was wanting a really cheap case, for the PI, i think a cheap...

Re: HELP!

Got it all sorted in the end guys. Got a bit crazy and out of hand at times (sarcasm) but i resolved it. In all honesty, there's not a lot of software out there which is ideal for what you are wanting to do sometimes! But i got my raspberry pi working and user Gparted to sort out the partitioning (w...

Re: Newbie in need!

If you're running debian 'squeeze' the file from this site.
You would login as usual
and enter: apt-get update

and it SHOULD update!

Hope it goes well for you!

I would love to think it would be possible, but for that price, and the simplicity of it; i think it would be more rip off, than brilliant buy!

Re: Pi Emulator?

If you want to simulate a Raspberry PI, I would suggest downloading; 'Oracle VM Virtualbox', from this you can run any operating systems on your PC, it's really easy to set up, and also you can tweak the settings as you're setting it up to be exactly the same as a raspberry pi! I did this before I g...
