Mounting Seagate external hard drive

I have a 3TB seagate external hard drive. If I plug it in to the RPi USB, I get:

wrong fs type, bad option, bad superblock on /dev/sda1,
missing codepage or helper program, or other error

any idea how I can access my drive?

Thanks!
