Re: Which kernel version we should use for compute module?

Pi B+ uses bcm2708, right?

Can i use 3.18.y for compute module?

What are the changes that i need to take to make CM work for me?

Hi,

Is there any API to set the alt function in the kernel code ie in machine driver?

Thanks,

I am also want to do that in my machine driver.

How can i call that function?

What i need to change in my code to set the alt function for the gpio that i want to set?

Hi, Me too working on this, i used the hack code to set the alt function the code is #define INP_GPIO(g) *(gpio+((g)/10)) &= ~(7<<(((g)%10)*3)) #define SET_GPIO_ALT(g,a) *(gpio+(((g)/10))) |= (((a)<=3?(a)+4:(a)==4?3:2)<<(((g)%10)*3)) unsigned int *gpio; gpio = ioremap(GPIO_BASE, SZ_16K); INP_GPIO(pi...

Re: New device tree kernel is in testing

@ PhilE

I got some idea about the reg that we have to give the value of the chipselect when we are using spi and have to give the address when we are using i2c.

So i am giving reg = <0x1>; in my dts file.

I think that is correct, isnt it?
