Re: Changing mac address manually for wlan0

It is, and a little bit of searching would have probably thrown up references to the file /etc/network/interfaces and /etc/dchpcd.conf I have tried searching, there doesnt appear to be anything which returns promising results. It seems many people are saying it works for them until they power down,...

Re: Putting eth0 and wlan0 on two diff subnets?

Hi dave, I have not removed ifplugd. I dont think its that causing the issue, Otherwise I would not be able to just change my wlan0 address to 192.168.1.200 and everything works as expected. Its only wen the address is change to 192.168. 2 . 200 that I can no longer connect to SSH. Changing the subn...

Changing mac address manually for wlan0

I have been able to change my mac address for eth0 by editing /boot/cmdline.txt and adding the following smsd25xx.macaddr=11:22:33:44:55:66

Can I add another entry here for the wlan0 device? If not, how comes?

When I plug my Pi in and boot up, I am able to connect over the air with SSH at 192.168.1.100 (static IP address set in /etc/network/interfaces). However if I boot up my Pi and leave it for 1-2 hours or longer, when trying to connect to my Pi with SSH at the same address, I always get the SSH error ...
