Re: no picture with latest image

i wanted to make a pi zero dashcam recorder, so i bought a pi zero W. then i noticed i don't have the smaller HDMI connector, so my plan was to prepare the whole image on a rpi3 and then swap the SD card to my zero. i'm running my website on an old raspberry. for testing purposes i have a clone of t...

Re: no picture with latest image

just an external SD card reader/writer. a big thing with a usb cable on it, not a little usb stick. what could the sd card reader change on the sd card, that makes it booting on a raspberry but doesn't give the image on the screen? while that same card works perfectly on an older rpi? i used the sam...

Re: no picture with latest image

the older image was also a rpi3 image. i recently bought a raspberry zero rpi but i don't have the small HDMI adapter. my idea was to prepare the 8GB sd card in my RPI3 with the latest image and enable the wifi. after i just put the sd card in the zero and can access it with ssh. the problem: i put ...

Re: 2560x1600 resolution

update on this topic, i think the rpi died. I still have image if I connect it to a small screen (640x480, 800x600, 1920x1080..., all no problem). the moment I connect it to the HP 30" monitor, this screen goes from orange light to blinking blue (sees the source but cannot determine the image). also...

Re: 2560x1600 resolution

wel, hdmi_boost = 11 didn't work at all, it got even worse http://fcapri.homelinux.com/off/pics/hdmi_boost11.jpg http://fcapri.homelinux.com/off/pics/hdmi_boost11BIG.jpg but removing hdmi_boost = 11 was quite better actually. still have minimal green dots, but i'm gonna try a different hdmi cable fo...

Re: 2560x1600 resolution

Apparently there is a pixel clock limit also : https://www.raspberrypi.org/forums/viewtopic.php?t=20155&p=195443 i know, i already changed the pixel clock limit to higher value. 271 000 000 is to low and doesn't give me image, 275 000 000 is ok. I'd suggest: hdmi_drive=1 hdmi_group=2 hdmi_mode=76 m...

model B+ no usb, no lan, already tried EVERYTHING

First of all, i'm not a newby when it comes to raspberry's. i have 2 model B's up and running (one as a permanent website and one for testing to build my own carputer with one). the problem i have is with a 3rd Rpi: one colleague of me bought himself a model B+ to build a mediacentre. this Rpi refus...
