Re: OpenELEC meets Raspberry Pi - part 1 (XBMC)

I have several issues with the last build 11388 :(

1. Can't play videos from add-on like TED
2. Can't play videos from the local network through and add-on PlexBMC (I was able do do that with 112xx)
3. Analog audio no longer available in settings (I'm not on HDMI)

Re: Cheap powered USB Hub (UK)

My D-Link H-7 arrived yesterday. I'm rather disappointed. The two 1A ports only activate when no +5V is present in the USB input cable, and when I used the cable with no +5V pin then it becomes a power supply only. The hub functionality turns off and so the pi can't see any usb devices plugged in. ...

Re: Cheap powered USB Hub (UK)

I think, that http://www.dlink.ru/ru/product.....316_b.html will be the qualitiest solution.... I agree, I'm going to buy this one for my Pi. I have another 5v 2.1A but it doesn't work, rasp can't recognize the usb keyboard pluged in the hub. Here the D-link DUB-H7 hub full specs: Standards: USB sp...

Re: Success with KB, Mouse & WiFi?

With the latest kernel (built from git), wifi, mouse and keyboard work just fine, with a powered USB hub. Both the Pi and the hub are powered from a 2.1A Cliptec USB charger. Using a cheap "no-name" WiFi adapter with r8172u kernel driver. Thank You so much... so I have to buy a good charger like cl...

Re: OpenELEC meets Raspberry Pi - part 1 (XBMC)

Hi guys, I have a question, do you think we can load XBMC without loading the whole desktop environment?

Raspi hasn't a lot of ram and this way can help having a bit more responsive  xbmc.
