Re: Unable to access my Pi through a wireless range extender

I have this issue. The solution posted is not relevant. I'm thinking it's a problem with the routing table. If I allow two RPIs to be in the mutual proximity of either the router OR the extender, they see each other. When they one is near the router, and the other is near the extender, it fails.

Re: Raspberry Pi3 and GPS

The chip/board is putting out 10 fixes per second (10Hz). That's fixed. You can choose to ignore fixes, and effectively resample at slower rates. You cannot speed it up.

Efficient code that uses gpsd should see 10 Hz output. gpsd can do the resampling for you, as previously posted, above.

Re: 'X11 forwarding request failed on channel 0'

I had this problem. ssh -X [email protected].167.1.1 worked 100% of the time. Until the new Raspian versions. Then they stopped. I just proved this by using an older SD Card with an older version of Raspian on it. So I'm thinking it's something irritating. Firmware was an upgraded version, for example. I've no...

Re: RPI RTL-SDR server: Segmentation fault.

Well, I get intermittent audio from SDR# on my Dell Laptop, when is client to the R PI rtl_tcp server. It seems like the processing is to little for pushing or pulling the data, and buffering is taking place. It "works" - that is, if you consider 0.1 sec every second of audio to work.. I was able to...
