Re: Alan O'Donohoe on BBC Breakfast

It's fabulous news about the 1000000th Pi rolling off the production line, and the news that the BBC are to get behind the coding initiative. http://www.bbc.co.uk/news/technology-24446046 Unfortunately, I didn't manage to see the piece on BBC Breakfast, I was elsewhere at the time. ;-) There's a rec...

Re: Portsmouth Jam 27th July?

Update. I've added Elliot at the Innovation Warehouse to the admin page for the Eventbrite listing. Graham suggested to me that it would be better for Elliot to manage the event listings.

Re: Portsmouth Jam 27th July?

I've created a draft eventbrite page and added Graham Hinds as the admin for the event. I can add other admin people to the page, but it starts to get confusing when more than one manage the page. Graham might wish to pass the role on.

Watch this space. :-)

Re: Education value of Raspberry Pi?

This is a thought provoking discussion, one that should contribute to our Raspberry Jamboree on March 9th 2013. I believe we need to help people to see the Raspberry Pi for what it is, not what it isn't. I invite you to contribute to our Jamboree and extend the discussion at https://raspberryjambore...

Re: Raspberry Jamboree, Saturday March 9th 2013

What will the format for the event be? Is it close to a barcamp with no official schedule and attendee-generated content, or more like a big Jam? Jack - it's going be less like BarCamp with many of the sessions/workshops listed in advance. Although, there will still be some unconference flexibility...

Re: CANADA! anyone in the GTA?

Have you added yourselves to the Raspberry Pi tracker? Then you can see where Pi people are.

If distances are too great, you could organise an online Raspberry Jam. Not quite the same as meeting people in real life, but better than nothing.
