Pi Cobbler to breadboard

I'm about to begin experimenting with the Pi and have a pretty basic question. On a prototyping breadboard, where do I connect the Pi Cobbler plate? Various forums and pictures depict my similar set up with it plugged in various places, but nothing to indicate if that's project-specific. See link be...

Re: RPi as ground-based flight computer?

Thanks for the link! It looks interesting but also he built a quad around a Pi. I'd like to keep the Pi on the ground and have it interface with the remote control unit to actually fly the craft.

RPi as ground-based flight computer?

Would the RPi be capable of interfacing with a remote control for a toy quadcopter, to the point that the Pi could "fly" the quad? Ideally, what I like to see is maybe adding some lightweight sensors to the quad with a downlink which could tell the Pi the orientation and location of the vehicle duri...

interfacing with power wheelchair

I acquired this precise unit of power wheelchair which had been rendered medically unfit for service due to some clumsy structural repair work. So far as I can tell, the electronics, drive motors, and batteries are sound. The control stick powers up, though it shows the batteries as being too deplet...

Re: Finally found a use for my Pi

http://www.raspberrypi.org/raspilapse/ This is pretty awesome. I am already scouring my house for spare materials and making a shopping list. In researching the above link and more which followed, I want to maybe up the ante a bit. If I use the Pi to make the dolly track, then I would have spare IO...

Finally found a use for my Pi

Hi all, I have owned a Pi since the first pre-orders started shipping back in 2012 or so. Initially, I used it as an XMBC server but was disappointed with the overall performance. I eventually swapped it out for a full size home theater PC and the Pi has been sitting unused ever since. I just couldn...
