Re: [UPDATE] Kodi 18.4 Leia for Raspberry Pi 4

Upstream bug report is https://bugs.launchpad.net/raspbian/+bug/1834970 Please attach any solutions there too so all models of RPi can get support from Raspbian repository.

I went for the UMIK-1 and that works like a charm.

Re: etc/network/interfaces deleted

So, isn't this a bug? I want to purge zenity but this package depends on it. If you use RPi command-line or server only and purge it from a few hundreds of unneeded packages, you run into this problem. This justifies that this package may be left installed, so that dependency should be removed. What...

Re: etc/network/interfaces deleted

After deinstalling a few hundred packages (non-network related) my /etc/network/interfaces file was also gone. With apt-get --reinstall install ifupdown I did not get the file back and had to copy it manually from another system. If someone would like to look into this I can supply the list of non-e...

Supported USB seismologic sensor

What sensor work out of the box with RPi B+ for gathering seismic data. With this I mean that drivers are already shipped with Raspbian. I am looking for one that can register low frequency noise between approximately 10 and 30 Hz of which originates from energy that is propagated through the earth....

Re: USB Audio -> STEREO <- LINE or MIC IN

I am more tempted to http://www.minidsp.com/products/acousti ... ent/umik-1 now by the lack of a properly working and supported ADC with line in or microphones for B+. Experimental solutions are good but not for my application. And this device is calibrated as well.

I'm using one of these on a B+ http://skpang.co.uk/catalog/pcm1803a-analog-to-digital-stereo-converter-breakout-p-697.html PeterO Thanks PeterO. What are good guides to get started with this one? Re: USB Audio -> STEREO <- LINE or MIC IN

The Wolfson card WON'T WORK on a Raspberry Pi A+ or B+. The P5 header is removed on the A+/B+. Take a look at the HiFiBerry or USB sound devices. So it is true that https://nl.farnell.com/webapp/wcs/store ... reId=10168 which should fit on a B+ and not on a B isn't working because of http://www.ele...

Re: Wolfson audio card install and worth

Please see my reply at http://www.raspberrypi.org/forums/viewt ... 45&t=82200 This audio card needs a wiki page I think. I am very interested if people get it to work on B+ with Raspbian.

Re: USB Audio -> STEREO <- LINE or MIC IN

I am looking for an ADC for line in and microphones on GPIO. It needs to be high quality in terms of 24-bit and 96 kHz. All I can find for B+ is the Cirrus Wolfson card or are there any alternatives? There is a lot of scattered information on the Wolfson card and some worrying information about driv...
