Re: RPiZ with g_mass_storage, how to detect host plug/unplug?

Thank you for your reply! Changing the module could be one solution, I will have to look into that. But I think it will be quite a lot of changes that must be done. Using g_ether didn't even cross my minds (even though I've used it before). It would require some script etc. to be run on the PC, but ...

RPiZ with g_mass_storage, how to detect host plug/unplug?

Hi, I'm followed this guide losely https://magpi.raspberrypi.org/articles/pi-zero-w-smart-usb-flash-drive and got a Raspberry Pi Zero W up and running as a USB memory stick. After I run modprobe I can plug the device in and out of my different PCs and the RPiZ will show up as a USB-drive. So far so ...

Re: Can't connect to wifi but wifi country has been set properly (Pi 3 Model B+)

I tried both fresh and not fresh. My router does not use hidden SSID. AAnd there are like 25 other wlans around me and non is seen. I it is only the ethernet widget in the gui that has this problem. In the clip it works fine to scan for networks. And if I add the network to wpa_supplicants the pi wi...

Thanks, it works fine. Even though it isn''t persistent through reboots it easy enough to use when you have to change network (which probably won't be very often).

Re: Can't connect to wifi but wifi country has been set properly (Pi 3 Model B+)

Hi, did anyone find a solution for this? I just got my first RPi3b+ and I got the exact same problem as MineSweGamer. I'm alos located in Sweden.

Changing the wifi conutry works for a few minutes, and never survives a reboot. setting the REGCONTRY to SE in /etc/default/crda doesn't work either.

Issue 40, Unable to find STLs for Zer0bot

Hello, In the latest essentials special edition from The Magpi with gpiozero theme there is a reference for zerobot that was first presented in issue 40 of The Magpi. As I seem to have all the stuff needed to build a zerobot I thought I'd do it. However, the link to the thing on Thingiverse is broke...

fiveseven808,

I hade the same problem until yesterday. fq1888's pro tip worked for me! I didn't even have to recalibrate.
You can see my thread about this topic here: viewtopic.php?f=44&t=173993

Re: Issue with XPT2046/ADS7846 touchscreen on RPi3

The above link did not help in any way.

I was unable to run the calibration script actually. And trying to run the calibration manually it failed saying that xinput_calibrator didnät support xinput as --output-type.

Re: XPT2046 Touch Screen instructions for Raspbery Pi 3

DarkoSan, what if you were to put the same SD-card in a RPi1 or RPi2? Can you see the parameters then? I'm thinking there could be something iffy with the overlays and device tree for the RPi3...

I hope I get the time to try these commands when I get home. Specifically the autostart of xinput_calibrator part.
Has anyone else tried them?

I got the same calibration data from xinput_calibrator as you. And even if I formated it to the "normal" format it didn't work. As you, I belive that the calibration file is not used or something is overriding it. mastermushi's suggestion to revert to an older version of Raspbian is not an option fo...

Those are the values I got from xinput_calibrator... I did run evtest just a few minutes ago and the values are much lower. Here are the values of top left corner and bottom right: Event: time 1486758330.018684, -------------- EV_SYN ------------ Event: time 1486758337.921061, type 1 (EV_KEY), code ...

[solved] Issue with XPT2046/ADS7846 touchscreen on RPi3

Hi, I have an LCD that is a Waveshare copy, this one . I'm having trouble getting the touch to work properly in PIXEL. I'm running the lates jessie (2017-01-11) on a Raspberry Pi 3. The LCD is displaying the Picture as it should. The issue is that the touch area seems to be "bigger" that the screen....

Re: XPT2046 Touch Screen instructions for Raspbery Pi 3

I'm having the same issue as dallas84. the screen seems calibrated at centre, but the closer to the border I get the more out of calibration it gets. It looks like the area of the screen and touch is out of sync...

Anyone know what the problem might be?
I'm using a RPi3.
