Re: Netflix on Pi 2

If all you want to do is have Netflix on your TV, buy a Chromecast or a FireTV Stick, they're about the same price as a Pi and will definitely work.

Netflix on a Pi is still a work in progress (and probably won't work because of the DRM issues).

Re: PI does not recognize external hard drive

Does the hard drive have it's own power supply or is it powered through the USB cable?

If it is powered through the USB cable, try connecting it to your Pi through a powered USB hub - the Pi may not be able to supply sufficient power to the hard drive.

Re: Netflix on Raspbmc

I thought I'd ask the same question of Netflix and this is what I got back from them: "Are there any plans to allow Netflix to run on a Raspberry Pi computer? That is a great question! Just to make sure we are on the same page. That is that the little box that connects to the TV? Yes, that is correc...

Re: Problem usb hub

I just bought a powered USB hub and I get the above - when I unplug power from Pi, red light still on. What causes this? It is the hub not conforming t...

Re: Pibow (a colourful case for your Raspberry Pi)

Mine arrived yesterday and it is muuuch better than the other case I had - only problem as mentioned above was that the power plug wouldn't fit through the hole in the case. However, some judicious use of scissors to the edges of the plug (which was an HTC USB charging cable) and it now fits perfect...
