Re: [DEV] LineageOS 16.0 (Android 9) for Raspberry Pi 4 B

I didn't know they were separate. My SwiftShader (misnamed swrast) target does show the boot animation but does not boot the OS. It does also appear to be placing SwiftShader libs into lib64. Ah, apparently things have changed from Pie (https://android.googlesource.com/platform/external/swiftshader...

Re: [DEV] LineageOS 16.0 (Android 9) for Raspberry Pi 4 B

Is that for the rpi3's kms as well? or just no changes for swrast? Another thing that may be complicating things is that I am targeting 64-bit mode. Both, i.e. same what I'm currently using on LineageOS 16.0 on Pi 3 and Pi 4. It's kind of confusing to talk about swrast because mesa has swrast which...

Re: [DEV] LineageOS 16.0 (Android 9) for Raspberry Pi 4 B

Nah, not into the OS yet, memtrack crashes on both v3d test and swrast builds. my v3d testing is to the point where as far as Android is concerned, it works, but the screen is black :/ (trying to use the FydeOS cros_gralloc) memtrack I'm using (https://github.com/lineage-rpi/android_device_brcm_rpi...

Re: [DEV] LineageOS 16.0 (Android 9) for Raspberry Pi 4 B

Can we crowdfund legal fees to sue? After all, you are entitled to royalties, since they are using outside the scope of the free license. It could also set an example for anyone else thinking about doing the same. IMO there should be ways to resolve these things out of court. That should be the fin...

Re: [DEV] LineageOS 16.0 (Android 9) for Raspberry Pi 4 B

Not sure I understand the reasoning... Are you going to sell it or just prevent someone else from selling it? IMO if someone wants to sell Android builds for the Pi (or start crowdfunding projects or whatever), you need to do a lot more than just take other people's existing free and open source ef...

Re: Strange buzzing on phone systems

Since you are working with analog audio, and since you say it sounds great when you plug it into anything else, it seems to narrow down to your adapter. I don't know much about analog and electronics but I would imagine if you could integrate a filter into your cable design, it may be able to filter...

Re: USB Data not functional after attaching GPIO header to Pi 0 W v1.1

The USB data tracks appear to go fairly directly to the SoC, and nowhere near the GPIO header, so it would seem unlikely that soldering the header could damage them. I noticed that while trying to diagnose, its strange. Then again, afaik the pi is a multi-layer PCB so who knows whats going on on th...

Have you mixed up the power port with the USB port?
The zero can be powered by either port but only the USB port has the data lines D- D+.
No, I effectively have two power ports. I know which is which but just for test I've tried both anyway.

USB Data not functional after attaching GPIO header to Pi 0 W v1.1

I can't solder well, so I had a friend attach the GPIO header for me. The solder job looks clean, nothing really looks wrong with the Pi 0 W board. But USB (OTG or not) does not seem to work. If I boot a clean flashed Raspbian Lite SD and try to use an OTG Cable with my keyboard, it does not work (i...
