Well I have tried formatting the card and installing NOOBS again and still just showing the red power light, could there be a fault with my PI?

Also when I try and open the SD card on my PC it says The file or directory is corrupted and unreadable. Is this normal?

It's a Model B Pi.

The seller is uk based and I noticed it's a micro sd card inside an adapter.

I have just recently bought a memory card off eBay with noobs installed and when I power up my pi only the red power light is on and no others. Could this possibly mean a faulty memory card?
