Re: Raspberry Pi Zero WH OTG Keyboard Passthrough over SSH Window!

Thanks for the feedback and points of concern. I have figured out most of it. 1. The Pi's will be in my home connected to my wifi. 2. They will be powered by the PC's USB. 3. I will cut and enable power of the whole pc (that's genius right!)via Tasmota devices: https://github.com/arendst/Tasmota 4. ...

Re: Raspberry Pi Zero WH OTG Keyboard Passthrough over SSH Window!

My ultimate goal is BIOS level remote access. VNC does not allow BIOS Level Remote. How I get video, I have figured out, but I need to issues keyboard commands to the remote machine at BIOS level. I just need it for about 4-5 pc's, so it does not need to be generic. This shouldn't be too difficult t...

Re: Raspberry Pi Zero WH OTG Keyboard Passthrough over SSH Window!

Wouldn't it be possible to run such a translation tool also on the same raspberry zero? I also found this project: https://github.com/stjeong/rasp_vusb It also has a translation application. But the advantage here is that it does not require python. If we now also could run the client application on...

I got this Device: Bus 001 Device 004: ID 0e8d:7610 MediaTek Inc. It works just fine with the Raspbian fro...

Re: USB Stick Write Protected Permanently after Reboot

I used Active @ DELETE under DOS and filled the whole USB with 0.

Now I was able to format the USB Stick and can use it again.

USB Stick Write Protected Permanently after Reboot

Hi, I have Raspbian Installed on a 4 GB Data Traveler USB Stick via Berryboot. Everything was running fine for weeks. Last time I started, Berryboot tells me, that it can't find a disk. I Checked the USB Stick on my PC and it is recognized but windows tells me to format the Device. But when I try to...

Sportsdevil Works on Openelec, but not on Raspbian XBMC

Hi, I have a dual boot setup with Openelec and Raspbian running XBMC on a Rasp B+. On both I use Sportsdevil and everything was running fine up to last Week. Since last week many streams about 90% of them, but not all, stopped working on the XBmc running on Raspbian, but these same Streams do work o...

Re: Concurrent Remote Control/Desktop Session

That sounds good.

It would be great if I could use windows remote desktop as a client, as it comes preinstalled on any windows.

But I guess VNC uses its own protocol.

Anyway. I will give it a go.

Re: Concurrent Remote Control/Desktop Session

WHat do you mean "painted over it"?

Will the action through VNC be shown on the output over HDMI?

That is what I want to avoid.

Concurrent Remote Control/Desktop Session

Hi, I have my raspberry running as an XBMC Media center. I now wanted to access the Raspbian Desktop via Remote Desktop or another solution concurrently. On WIndows Platforms, multiple Users can login remotely to the OS via Remote Desktop at the same time without the Session 0 beeing interrupted. Fo...

Re: 01/16 UltraSlim = Retro/Gaming/Q3|XBMC 12/13|Desktop + m

I don't mind downloading a 4GB Backup.

Maybe someone could post a 2 GB Backup in order to cut the download time in half.

Anyway it would be more Timeconsuming for everyone to have to compile everything themselves.

Re: 01/16 UltraSlim = Retro/Gaming/Q3|XBMC 12/13|Desktop + m

It shouldn't be too difficult to add XBMC and Retorpie to a current raspbian image. I tried it myself and I followed the following tutorials: 1. Installed a fresh Raspbian Image with Berryboot. 2. Installed XBMC with the following Tutorial: http://www.raspbian.org/RaspbianXBMC 3. Installed Retropie ...

I don't have a model B just a B+, otherwise I would post a working image for everyone. Yeah thats my situation too. I'm currenty using Berryboot with Openelec and Retropie. I want to add other packages, but Openelec isn't suited for it and Raspbmc isn't compatible with Berryboot. And compiling retr...
