Re: Frame synchronisation

Could you give us some insight on the ms accurate capture process used, instead of making plain advertisement (for I have to admit a cool product). Btw wouldn't the cheaper A model be sufficient for your capture task ? (Set to 128/128) I can run a FullHD GTK3 Gui as well as a opencv3 frame capture u...

Re: Omxplayer waiting for dbus address to appear

Same problem here, it does even crash the A+ I have here. First thing is waiting for dbus address to appear, then the pi crashes on the line ... Checking if shift key is held down: Error opening dev/input/event.* no such file or directory ... boom graphic gets crippled -> game over, seems a problem ...

Re: Frame synchronisation

I think I`ve read that Frex doesn`t use a rolling shutter but uses a global readout instead. When enabling frex and eg IR light, on a microsecond scale, I don`t see the need for an external shutter mechanism. But I have to admit there have been some implications I did not understand. I thought expos...

Re: Frame synchronisation

Is there any Info on how to get FREX running ? Seems like the FREX pin(11) on the OV5647 is not exposed through the flat camera cable that goes from the camera to the pi. However the SDA line may eventually be used. The datasheet mentions that FREX can also be controlled using the SCCB register and ...

Re: Frame synchronisation

Both cameras driven with a modified version of raspivid blocking before the capture command: MMAL_PARAMETER_CAPTURE The cameras are triggered using a physical switch wired to a GPIO pin on each Pi board. The cameras are set to the same white balance (fluorescent if I remember) and auto-exposure. He...

Kinetic Scrolling Touchscreen Input in Raspbian

Hi ! I`m trying to get kinetic scrolling working on a small raspbian pi b+ with a 320x240 TFT/Touchscreen. I`m using the GTKMM / GTK3 ScrolledWindow class. There I set kinetic scrolling to true using its member function. However the Touchscreen still reacts like a mouse. No event is triggered from t...

Re: Frame synchronisation

Still no success enabling vsync output ?
This would be useful for an EyeTracker application as well,
which would require that an ir ledflash is synced to the camera shutter.
Otherwise the IR light will damage the Eyes, ...

Re: Qt or GTK on Raspian Wheezy

I went for GTK - I work on a Windows PC Eclipse crosscompilation environment. I can build the Pi binaries on the Windows Pc and debug them directly on the Pi. As I have a small tft touchscreen attached to the pi, I can see the gfx working immediately :) As there is a GTK framebuffer plugin, binaries...
