Try replacing your local IP address in the VirtualHost specification with a wildcard:

Is this something the ESP8266 would be better for? Assuming you just use it to send data, which i believe you do with it, I've not read into them but seen them mentioned. Press releases over the past couple of days indicate Intel is cancelling further development of Atom processors.

Where does that leave the Atom-based processors used in the Edison?

The problem with adding something on the Arm is that the bandwidth is insufficient to get frames to and from the GPU before the encoder. It needs to be done in a software stage in the ISP itself. I've done something similar before for debugging purposes, but will need to be a little more robust and...

I'm going to look in to a SW stage on the ISP pipeline to add text information to the recording. I think that would be very useful for data logging and the like. Not going to be right away though. Camera delivered this morning - very impressed! - and started looking through the raspicam and MMAL so...
