i would like to share what i have found... i have 2 usb wifi dongles... after associated, some tcp data will pass threw but when it seems like to much the disconnect and reconnect happens (over-current) was able to fix this from happening with one of the wifi dongles... iwconfig wlan0 rate 5.5M fixe...

I would like to post a reply, i may have fixed this problem i have...

iwconfig wlan0 rate 5.5M fixed

and so far all is good no over-current error

I have just created the file /boot/config.txt ->max_usb_current=1 Now i assume the usb cord im using is crap... how can i test with a voltage meter? im scared to poke around... the power adapter: 100-240V - 50-60hz 0.35A 5.0V - - - 2.0A when im connected to the access point during ssh login attempt ...

usb wifi. over-current... b+

im builing a little wifi router. The only device plugged in is a usb wifi device... i can broadcast a new-wifi accesspoint... establish a connection and use some of the services running on the pi... When i loginto sshd, dmesg will show the usb over-current and the usb device is disconnects and recon...
