Perhaps the size of the SD matters? Difference: yours 16G, mine 32G.
Its hard to find 8G or 16G microSD cards these days.

The original poster in this thread can use 32G cards.

Still can't see the bug report.

Re: Gate control from Raspberry Pi - Having Issues

Wiring up a relay can be a tricky thing. See https://www.raspberrypi.org/forums/viewtopic.php?f=91&t=83372, there are some common problems explained. It could help if you provide some more information, as which relais or relais board are you using, how did you connect the relais to the pi, is a...

Re: Imager erroring during Verify

The problem is agnostic to OS running the imager then. Its a problem, and very repeatable. I have the same problem running the imager on a RPi4B 8G RAM. Maybe the developers of the Imager tool would investigate if this repeatable problem was brought to their attention - https://github.com/raspberry...

In the PiCamera docs ( https://picamera.readthedocs.io/en/release-1.13/faq.html ) useful information is given about the use of close() in order to save power when running from a battery. "If you are running your Pi from batteries, you should close() (or destroy) the instance when the camera is...

Re: Pi won't boot up at a client's location, works fine at my house.

B. Goode, I have no experience in that area, any idea how I can check that? Or if there is a way I can prevent that from happening, I can look into it. Sorry. no idea. Just trying to be logical. The RPi boards themselves (standalone) seem to run in the new environment. The RPi boards with your add-...

Re: Pi won't boot up at a client's location, works fine at my house.

Yes, the key seems to be the custom made extension board - what is on it, what is it doing? The extension board houses 2 ADS1115 analog to digital converter that converts the analog signal to digital signal for the pi and then Pi reads the data through the I2C interface. It is a fairly simple exten...

We don't care what IDE you are using. I have never heard of MU IDE. I agree that the choice of Editor or IDE is irrelevant to executing production code. Re: Loop only reads the first state, does not update when it changes

This code is running, but it doesn't detect when the pin state changes from high to low, or from low to high. Whatever state comes first is what it continues to print, so I have misunderstood how the loop works. If I start the script with the tank empty it prints "Tank Empty". If I start ...

Dataplicity https://www.dataplicity.com/ is another 'man in the middle reverse connection' service that has support for Raspberry Pi/RasPiOS.

Perhaps worth an entry on your 'to delve' list?
