Re: All my pi's are redshirts

Trying to build a little raspberry pi rover. Worked fine for about five minutes, then I lost connection. Upon investigation, the pi seemed to have died. Red light goes on once plugged in, no green light. When I plugged an hdmi into it, it was just black. I replaced the pi and used the same sd card ...

Thanks for the suggestions, but I've tried them all and got nowhere. The folder (directory?) was created from File Manager by clicking File , New folder while I was logged in as user pi It's in the Home folder (directory?) at the same level as the pi folder It was empty but now contains some "...

The Raspberry Pi Imager only comes for Ubuntu (x86).

Factually incorrect.

There are versions for Windows, macOS and the Raspberry Pi Operating System - see https://www.raspberrypi.org/software/

The objective of the program is, when the sensor is triggered , feedback should be printed on the shell that an alarm is triggered, while an LED will also blink to show that an alarm is being triggered and at the same time wake the sim800l to send an SMS notification. The problem we are experiencing...

Hello I've been trying to boot a raspberry pi 4 b from usb and running into some difficulty. The 4b is described as being able to boot from usb "by default". I know that the sd-card reader and sd-card is working. When I boot off of the on-board micro-SD card reader into an operating syste...

Re: Two raspberry pi's - first Pi controlling GPIO of second (remote) Pi - HowTo?

Hi, Using two networked Raspi's (TCP/IP), is it possible to: - have sensor on RASPI-1 - control GPIO on RASPI-2 and possibly vice versa? My idea: I have multiple zigbee based power measuring switchable AC outlet plugs. (Plugwise) A usb zigbee transmitter stick is plugged into the raspberry. These p...

Re: Flow Meter

I'm making a Python program to calculate the flow of liquid passing through a sensor. And if that is what you want to measure then a flow rate meter would be an appropriate choice. But if your intention is to measure volume, then it might not be the right tool for the job. I think the issue isn't c...

I think the problem may be that one pulse doesn't necessarily = 1/10200 gallons (0.44 ml) when flow and pressure are varying. That's pretty much what the user presented with as the issue.. I noticed that if I increase the pressure or the flow the calibration is not right. I think we agree as to the...
