I mananged to get it working, however i had to find the 5.0.0 version, that seems to be working just fine for me at the moment,

might want to give that a try.

I have the exact same problem. tried everything but nothing works, and the openelec community does not seem to be much of a help either. i tried getting the legacy one, that one boots up fine but the screen is very very bad. some kind of distortion, no idea why, tried manually updating it, but does ...

Hey sorry for the delay, i thought you guys gave up so i stoped with the pi, but seeing as you just replied i tried starting up the pi again. however now it wont even broadcast the wifi, i tried this command : route -n Kernel IP routing table Destination Gateway Genmask Flags Metric Ref Use Iface 0....

does no one have any idea of what the cause might be ?

i just reformated everything, and just copy pasted everything from the guide, i did not type anything outmyself, and it still is not working....

i noticed that im using RT 5370 chipset if that makes any difference...

Why is that ?

How come i can set up my laptop to act like a WiFi Access point, (running Ubuntu 14.04).
and have phones, and even my Ps4 connected to it ?

Hello, i have followed this guide, and done everything that has been written and said to be done. when i start up my pi, the wifi shows up, i can see it on my phone and computer, then i try to connect to it, which works, it successfully connects, however when i try to use the internet, it just loads...
