Re: Emulation on the Raspberry Pi&Pi2 (Updated 30/12/2015)

I have a real Sam Coupe, disk drive no longer works, and it's only a 256k model, would be interested in sim coupe on the pi.

Re: EMULATION ON THE RPi (UPDATE)

Using the latest Chameleon and it really is a superb starting point for anybody wanting to look into emulation.. I have a small problem with emulating a 128k ZX Spectrum and getting sound through to the HDMI port. I cant get sound from Fuse or FBZX. I can get sound from Unreal, but cant work out how...

Re: ModMyPi Mk.2 USB Hub, 2.5'' HDD, Patch Bay, On/Off - Ide

I have to say, the more I look at this, the more i want one.. I don't care if its not the most pretty of ideas, all I care about is the fact that it looks extremely functional (certainly for my needs).. I need a hub, I need a decent psi.. Also need a case to store all my stuff and want the wireless ...

Re: Logitech Wireless Touch Keyboard K400: Does it work for

Yep, K400 works a dream for me.

Saves the need to crouch in front of my tv with a wired keyboard and mouse.. (Like I used to with my spectrum 30 years ago.. Although that did bring back some fond memories..)

Yeah, I forgot to mention that..

But it's sound none the less.

Might try my pi clocked to 850mhz see if I see a difference.

Re: Installing FUSE, the Spectrum emulator. Arch or Debian i

It might just me, I've been playing with my pi and it has a few bits and bobs installed that may be slowing it down.

I'm going to try it on a clean install tonight.

Excellent to hear Glider Rider again..

Re: Installing FUSE, the Spectrum emulator. Arch or Debian i

One other issue, I don't seem to be able to get it to go full screen. It only goes to 3x size windowed.

It was late last night when I tried it so maybe I'm being a complete idiot.

Re: Installing FUSE, the Spectrum emulator. Arch or Debian i

That wheezy method works great.

Still a little slow, but I managed to get sound over hdmi, not sure how, just clicked the preference for ay stereo separation and it all started working, even the beeper sounds.

Does anybody know if getting gpu acceleration in the os will make this better to use?

Re: Strange behavior on keyboard

I would like to confirm power as a likely cause.

I got this on my apple keyboard when using a 750mAh charger. But once I switched to a 1000mAh charger the issue is gone.

Most likely best to get a USB Hub for the wireless dongle, take the strain off the Pi.

Very very impressed.

Re: Help test the next Debian image (wheezy)

Using the old Debian image I was a little disappointed with the speed it ran on my pi. This new version is a lot quicker. I'm very impressed.

Might try over clocking it.

It's all a bit odd. Alot of people still have trouble with sd cards.

I have had issue with class 2 and class 4 cards. My class 6 card works great.

What cards are you having trouble with?

Re: Raspbmc Release Candidate

This works very well indeed for me.

I don't have a library setup yet, but its played the few files I've thrown at it (720p) no problems at all, and the menus are amazingly responsive.. It's the fastest I've seen so far.

Excellent work.
